Cobalt’s Nexus 20 has been engineered in the UK for the most demanding of applications and will be configured to demonstrate its High-Speed Linear Pack Printer Applicator with on-board barcode verification. “The Nexus 20 high Speed Linear print and applies labels at high speed to the side of shrink-wrapped packs and cases, verifying every barcode for quality as it is printed, only applying acceptable codes,” describes Cobalt’s Sales director, Chris Hunt. “An application speed of up to 80 packs per minute, coupled with in-line verification, meets and exceeds the speed and quality requirements of the fastest production lines.”
Also featuring on Cobalt’s stand, B64, will be the Nexus 20 Eco All Electric LPN printer applicator, which is configured to print and apply labels to the side of packs and cases. “The All Electric setup provides real-time print and apply with no requirement for compressed air,” continues Hunt. “As part of the All Electric solution configuration, we will be showcasing the brand new Industrial Automation range from Zebra, including Machine Vision and Fixed Industrial Scanners. Cobalt’s approach has always been to consider quality checks as part of automation projects and Zebra’s new track and trace capabilities and quality inspection of manufacturing work in process has evolved our solutions even further.”
We’ll be showing solutions that can be powered by NiceLabel where our experts are available to demonstrate the software and discuss NiceLabel automation in terms of not only how it can be a label management suite but become an interface between your existing ERP/MRP systems and inline industrial devices.
You can see Cobalt Systems at the PPMA show on stand B64.
