Are you an ambitious individual with a proven track record in sales? At Cobalt Systems, we are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Consultant. This is a field-based national role for the sale of barcode labelling automation solutions. Our solutions include a combination of mechanical hardware, software, technical services and consumables.
The successful candidate will be highly-resilient, tenacious and will possess excellent communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. This particular role is best suited to an individual with experience in similar roles, and experience in consultative solutions sales will be advantageous.

Apply NowAs a Technical Sales Consultant at Cobalt Systems, you will be responsible for achieving your sales target in capital equipment sales (barcode labelling automation), along with associated services, software and consumables. You will be responsible for the acquisition of new business, as well as developing business in our existing accounts.
Our client base includes companies of all sizes, from local bakeries to publicly-listed companies. The verticals we operate in include; Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device Manufacture, FMCG, Logistics, 3PL’s, and e-commerce.
You will be proactive in your approach and take the initiative to develop your technical ability to exploit new commercial opportunities, including in areas that may be new to you such as factory automation, software, and emerging technologies.
Strong discipline is required in the delivery of technical sales solutions, from specification and proposals, through to managing a busy pipeline of projects of various scale and complexity.
As well as strong technical competency, you will have the excellent entrepreneurial, leadership and interpersonal skills required for successful career development of both yourself and those around you. These skills must include:
